Great selection of home made hot and cold food. Amazing deli counter, salad bar, bakery is out of this world. Eat dinner, lunch, even breakfast. That have something for everyone. Helpful hardworking staff keeping the place clean. Definitely recommend to shop if you need food!!

Great market in the French Quarter near the central business district — clean well organized and stocked with every item— wonderful extensive wine and liquor selection prepared meals lots of fresh vegetables and fruits beautifully displayed anything you’re looking for you’ll find there. People are friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Everything you could possibly need for a traveler. This is a big grocery store. Hot food, deli, wine, liquor and more! I would suggest to bring your own reusable bag. The bags that they provide look pretty thin. I purchased items that were heavy. Glad I planned to bring my own since I had a 15 min walk back to hotel. I have to mention that walking there could be a little “sketchy” There are homeless about but they don’t seem to bother anyone. Upon entering the store there is a burly security guard to greet you….and I believe the store is located near a fire dept and today there were many cops…maybe just to shop? After all they need to eat too. All in all, I felt relatively safe walking there and back during the day, on a weekday.

Such great prices and selection at Rouses. We are from out of town and cooking as much as we can while vacationing in NOLA and this grocery store met our needs and then some. I highly recommend the pint of Oreo Delight that we found and who knew one can get sparkling water with THC in the grocery stores in Louisiana. We got grapes for 3.49/lb, bananas for .59/lb, baby carrots 1.49/lb bag. I also picked up some Louisiana hot sauce for bringing back home and a few cans of sparkling water for only a buck each. Great store!

Wow...did this market literally have everything you would need and then some. We are here on vacation for a week and needed some things for the AIRBNB and I was excited and shocked at the same time. We wanted a few bottles of wine and originally I was looking for a wine shop and then gave up looking. Then we stopped here and honestly, they have such a huge wine selection for a market that they had everything I was looking for and then some. They even have a cooler selection of high end wines locked up, and I have never seen that before. Awesome market! I hope i don't sound to excited about a market or wine, LOL!

This store is clean, well organized, and well stocked. Prices are good and they have plenty of check out lines and folks to belp. There is nothing I needed during my stay in New Orleans that they didn't have. Had some steaks cut, got some baby wipes, wine, beer and they have liquor as well. Wish we had one back home!!!

I was quite surprised by this grocery store. I thought it would be bare bones, but it was more like BONES MALONES…. Nice selection. Nice prices. Nice service. They even had legit prime grade beef at good prices. I thought at first it was choice with nice marbling, but nope, it was dope.

We stopped by on our way out of NOLA for boudin, grabbed some alligator meat as well, and we're so impressed with the store. So clean and well stocked. Not being from Louisiana we had no prior knowledge of Rouses, but it was recommended to us. Very impressive, prices seemed reasonable. Good place.

If you are traveling, this is a great place to stay near mind in case you need anything. I had to pick up some traveling items. They also have a really good selection of local beer and wine from Louisiana.
